Presented by Diane Sweeney, author of Learning Along the Way (Stenhouse, 2003). Learn how to develop principal/coach partnerships to increase the outcomes of coaching in K-12 schools. Teams will be provided with the opportunity to explore, discuss, and plan in the following areas: *The theories and practices behind a coaching model that focuses on student learning and teacher practice; *Specific methods and tools for developing powerful partnerships between a principal and coach; *Methods for assessing and impacting the school climate in order to encourage teacher collaboration and reflection; and *Strategies for leveraging school-based coaching in order to impact student learning. Due to the content of this seminar, we require that principals and coaches attend as a team. District level leaders are also encouraged to attend with school teams.
